Does your dog need exercise during the day? No matter how much we care for our dogs, the pressures of work and other demands on our time can lead to our dogs being left at home, bored and unattended for longer than we'd like. It happens to us all. We can't always change our lifestyles but there is at least a way to keep our dogs happy.
Essex Dog Walkers can visit your home, collect your dogs and take them for a walk as often as you like. We can walk them in town if you prefer but normally we take dogs into woodlands, where they are away from traffic, people and other dogs. We generally walk dogs on their own (unless you have more than one) but can also offer group walks subject to availability and your dog's temperament.
We can cope with all types of dogs from massive mutts like Great Danes through to miniatures, and cater for those with lots of energy as well as older or less active dogs. Walks are generally a standard one hour, but depending on your area we may be able to offer shorter walks. For more information, click the button below.
If you're going to be away from home for a few days or longer and prefer not to leave your dogs in a boarding kennels, which not all dogs (or owners) like, we offer Dog Homestay Boarding. This means your dog will stay in our homes and live with us for the duration of your absence. It means your dog will have plenty of attention and company, and also get walked regularly. It's not as cheap as putting your dog into a kennels, but then it's not the same kind of service. For more details, click below.
If you're interested in our services, please get in touch to arrange a convenient time to meet so that we can discuss your needs and assess your dog(s). We are happy to walk all types of dogs from pups to pensioners, intact or not, and can even handle stroppy dogs, but dogs are as individual as people and we need to make sure your dog will accept walking with us. It's just common sense.
